Q: Why spend more money buying organic?
A: Did you know your skin is your biggest organ and absorbs everything it comes into contact with? It even absorbs toxins that are present in the air. Everything. That being said, everything that you put on your skin makes its way into your body, your blood stream etc. Do you really want all those crazy pesticides that have been scientifically linked to causing cancer entering your body and doing damage you can't even see?
Q: What is the difference between a fragrance and essential oils?
A: Look at your own body care labels. Fragrance is on almost every package out there. Fragrance which is also known as perfume, is created for aroma through various chemical concoctions. It can be derived from petroleum or natural raw materials. The U.S. Department of health and Human Services states that over 5,000 different chemicals are used to create a fragrance in different combinations and used in products today. Why? Its cheap. Costs way less than using natures own fragrances. This is where essential oils come in. They are derived from the actual plant they say they come from and are highly concentrated. This is why you should never put them straight on your body, but cut them with other organic oils, liquids or butters.
